Belmont Historical Society Living History Day Sale - April 29, 2023

On April 29 the Rosemary and Thyme Herb Society of Gaston County was invited to have a table at the Belmont Historical Society's Living History Day. This was a chance to find homes for the few remaining herbs we have left over from our plant sale earlier in April. Members were also invited to donate plants to sell, with the proceeds to go to the society. Tomatoes and iris were only a couple of the additions to the sale.

Alice Walker also donated a floral display for the table.

We had, besides the plants, information on the herb society, sign-up sheets for people wanting more information and planting guides available for those interested.

It was a nice showing and worth a few extra dollars for the society. Hopefully next year we can get more plants to sell from members. It's a great way to get rid of extra seedlings grown for our own gardens.
