Beetopia! - May 20, 2023

May 20th found the Rosemary and Thyme Herb Society of Gaston County at the Gastonia Farmer's Market for Beetopia!

While we didn't sell any plants at this event, we did have lots of information to hand out to those interested and several volunteers were available to answer questions. 

Members brought examples of various herbs from their gardens to display. Elizabeth Atterberry created a lovely floral arrangement from her garden as a center piece. 

Members manning the table had opportunities to check out other vendors at the event. Discussions of good plants for pollinators of all sorts was the primary topic of conversation. Those of us who don't actually have beehives still want and need bees in our flower and vegetable gardens. 

Hopefully Keep Gastonia Beautiful group will invite us to the next Beetopia.
